Elders in Transition and Nanaimo Community Hospice is a registered non-profit society dedicated to provision of compassionate care and practical support to individuals in the last stages of living, to their caregivers, and to the bereaved. The staff and volunteers providing this service are trained hospice volunteers well versed in dealing with sensitive situations. All our work is done with care and respect to ensure that the transition is completed with as little stress as possible.
All merchandise handled by the Hospice Shoppe is sold with 100% of the net profit going to the Nanaimo Community Hospice Society. This great society uses the van to transport donations.
